BRV Vardhan'12 National Level Paper Presentation Contest for UG and PG Students :
IEEE Bangalore was established in 1977 and is one of the vibrant Sections in India. Over the years the strength of the section has grown steadily and currently the Section membership stands close to 7000. This membership is spread across various sectors and is a nice blend of Industry, Academia and Research organizations.

Bangalore Section has 14 Society Chapters and two affinity groups. The Chapters carry out focused activities in the respective area by way of conducting technical talks under DLT, Seminars, Tutorials, workshops etc. Apart from the Chapters two affinity groups viz. the Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) and Women In Engineering (WIE) also carry out related activities. IEEE Bangalore and IEEE Princeton and Central New Jersey Sections had signed a MoU as sister sections.

IEEE Bangalore Section is honored to host this year's BRV Vardhan Paper Presentation contest on October 31st, 2012 at P E S College of Engineering, Mandya. BRV Vardhan Paper Presntation contest is a trademark event of IEEE Bangalore section. IEEE PESCE joins its hand to host the Event with IEEE Bangalore Section in their campus.

IEEE PESCE Student Branch started in the year 2007 by a mere number of 24. Today it is one of the largest Student Branch across India with a staggering number of 191. IEEE PESCE Student Branch is the recepient of Bangalore Section's Best Student Branch Award for the year 2011-12.

National Level Paper Presentation Contest for UG and PG Students on 31st October 2012

Rules and Regulations :
** Maximum of Three Authors per paper.
** Names of the Authors, Individual contact numbers, Email IDs must be mentioned without fail.
** Extended abstract must not be more than 500 words. It must clearly specify the objective and the work carried out.
** Final papers must be in .DOC or PDF format with IEEE STANDARDS.
** Extended abstract and final paper should be mailed to “ brv@ieeepesce.com” with subject specified To which section it belongs to (software or hardware).
** The paper sent must not be presented in any other paper contests. Participants should give a declaration statement at the end of the paper.
** NON IEEE members can also participate.
** Organizing committee’s decision is final.
** Registration fee is 300 INR for IEEE and 500 INR for NON IEEE
** Each Author of the accepted paper will get a participation certificate.
** Accommodation will be provided if required on a discount price.
** Plagiarism is not Entertained.
** The paper should have original idea, implementation, simulation and Experimentation.

Note :
** Acceptance of paper will be of two phases
Extended abstract.
Final paper.
** Last date for submission of the extended abstract is 25th of September 2012.
** Acceptance of paper will be intimated on or before 30th of September 2012.
** Last date for submission of the final paper is 6th October 2012.
** Acceptance of final paper on or before 13th October 2012.
