1.Name of the post : LIBRARIAN
No. of post : 1
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs.37400 – 67000; AGP: Rs.10000
Age : Not more than 50-years
Educational & Other Qualifications :
(i) Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentations with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC prescribed seven point scale and consistently good academic record (or)
(ii) Deputy Librarian completing service of three years in the AGP of Rs.9000/- and otherwise eligible as per prescribed conditions shall also be eligible for appointment to the post of Librarian through open recruitment
Desirable : M.Phil / Ph.D degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping
Experience :
(i) Atleast thirteen years as Deputy Librarian in University Library or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian
(ii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work

2.Name of the post : DEPUTY LIBRARIAN
No. of post : 01
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs.15600 – 39100 ; AGP: Rs.8000
Age :Not more than 45 years
Educational & Other Qualifications :
(i) Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentations with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC prescribed seven point scale and consistently good academic record (or)
(ii) On completion of service of 5-years, Assistant Librarian (Sr. Scale) / College Librarian (Sr.Scale) shall be eligible for the post of Deputy Librarian / equivalent posts in Pay Band of Rs.15600 – 39100, with academic Grade Pay of Rs.8000/-
Desirable : M.Phil / Ph.D degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping, computerization of Library
Experience :
(i) Atleast five years as Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian
(ii) Evidence of innovative library service, published work and professional commitment and computerization of Library
(iii) Individual holding analogous posts on regular basis in any recognized University / Autonomous bodies / Central / State Government Undertaking

3.Name of the post : Law Officer
No. of post : 01
Scale of Pay : PB: Rs.15600 – 39100 ; GP: Rs.5400
Age : Not more than 40-years
(i) A Master’s Degree in Law with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale (or) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale with a Bachelor Degree in Law
(ii) 5-years experience in legal works which will include defending court cases, being conversant with legal procedures, etc., preferably in academic institutions
