'Deliver professional support to customers, regulatory authorities, suppliers, engineering, technical, manufacturing and sales to define realistic requirement specifications for aircraft, land vehicle and marine filtration assemblies.
'Provide experience and competence to assess feasibility of designs at an early stage, to reduce risk in a systematic manner and ensure Profitable, Functional, Right First Time, Innovative and Value Added products.
'Own the New Product introduction (NPI) design responsibility for filtration assemblies and associated components either against individual design specifications or as part of a broader system.
'Support sales enquiries, design projects, development, prototype and pre-production manufacture.

'Focus on new projects, which demand involvement and coordination to achieve the following project objectives:
1. Meeting the customer specification
2. Competitive Product Cost
3. Reliable products
4. On time delivery

'Facilitate a concurrent engineering approach to NPI involving all relevant specialist personnel to enable the following:

A 100% personalized project where the total parts were designed and developed by me, to the highest possible precision, It is a project of a small jet turbine power plant. Its diameter extends to about 300 mm. It is estimated to develop a power of about 250 N at 100K rpm.

- Converting Sound Energy to develop A.C. (Year 2004)
This model uses sound vibrations to vibrate a coil between magnets to develop an AC.

This working project depicts how the sound vibrations are being used in microphones to convert analog into electrical signals.

The vibrating screen is a kind of sieving equipment to screen the material to the required size. The vibrating screens get their vibrating motion from shaft to which counter weights are attached, this is known as Rotor and Shaft assembly. Major contribution of the study is modelling of rotor and shaft assembly (PRO-E), mechanical and thermal study (ANSYS).
- As a part of M.Tech Course worked on project Titled “ Friction Welding of Austenitic Stainless Steel AISI 321 and Ferritic Stainless Steel AISI 430” at SASTRA University, Thanjavur.
Description :
Continuous drive friction welding studies on austenitic – ferritic stainless steel has been attempted with various combinations of process parameters. Optimization of process parameters (Taguchi’s orthogonal array), microstructural (Optical microscope & SEM) and mechanical (Micro-hardness test) correlation are major contributions of the study.
