Desired Candidate Profile
The selected candidate has to perform following functions
Estimate ,prepare and process the invoice ,analysing rates and checking survey details.
Preparation of bill of Quantities.
Tendering of projects like residential buildings, commercial complex, high rise and industrial structures etc..
B.E Civil with minimum 3 to 8 yrs of work experience in Quantity Surveying can apply.
He must be good in estimation, billing and must have exposure of QS for minimum 3 yrs in construction industry.
Have a reasonable knowledge of Planning.

Project Description:

The Project is located on the river Alaknanda at Shri Nagar Town in Tehri and Pauri districts of uttrakhand state.The Project consists of major structures like Diversion Dam (263 m Long and 90 m high), Intake structure consisting of 6 individual tunnels of 6.20 m diameter joining two head Race tunnels of 9.8 m diameter.(1063 m and 1178 m long), two concrete conduits crossing the supana Nallah, De-silting basin designed to remove sediment particles of size 0.2 mm and above, Power channels, Foreway, Bypass Channel, Four Steel Penstocks 5.6 m in diameter, Surface Power House With 4 turbines of 82.50 MW and a Tail Race Channel through which water is released back in to the river.

- Co-ordinate with contractors Safety Manager on all Safety matters on daily basis.
- Provide Safety induction training to all new comers.
- Organize and conduct Training Programs on Work Permit System, Emergency Response Procedure, Accident Prevention, Near Miss / Incident Reporting, to all Supervisors before deployment.
- Ensure availability of PPEs.
- Ensure that Safety Officers are carrying out continuous site inspection to ensure that only safe working procedures are applied, and inspecting safety equipments and first aid facilities and ensure they are adequately and properly maintained.
- Ensure Fire Extinguishers are kept in easily accessible locations and are inspected by Safety Officers as per project requirement.
- Ensure that all construction equipments and loose lifting gears are inspected and certified by third party and color coded before put in to use.
- Ensure Permit to Work system is being implemented.
- Verify licenses of all Crane Operators, Riggers, and Drivers and ensure they are in compliance with requirements.
- Provide advice to Safety Officers on Safety issues.
- Ensure good house keeping through out the period of work.
- Ensure all Safety related issues are communicated to the work force through daily and Weekly Toolbox Talk.
- Practical fire fighting program & conduct fire fighting training to all employees.
- Site inspection and safety deficiencies corrected.
- Prepare monthly safety performance report.
- Conduct monthly evacuation drill for emergency preparedness.
