Who We Are Looking For
Teach For India is looking for applicants who will have a transformational impact on their students in the short-term and be leaders in the fight for educational inquity beyond the Fellowship.
Teach For India looks for multiple attributes in a potential Fellow, including but not limited to

Who can apply?
Students and professionals with a Bachelor’s Degree at the time of joining the Fellowship are invited to apply. Applicants need to be either of Indian citizenship, or of Indian origin.
Eligibility Criteria :
The eligibility criteria to the Teach For India Fellowship program are as follows:
(a) Minimum Qualification :
You must have completed all coursework required for your undergraduate degree (Bachelor’s degree equivalent) from an accredited college or university by the last week of May 2013.
(b) Academic Record :
Your degree transcripts (graduate/postgraduate certificates) will be reviewed before an admission decision can be taken. Applicants must also pass any coursework indicated in their transcripts at the time of the interview.
(c) Nationality :
You should be either (i) an Indian citizen or (ii) a foreign national of Indian origin. Foreign citizens who are not of Indian origin are not eligible to apply.
Note to Foreign nationals of Indian origin : For more information on the OCI card, please go to the Ministry of Home Affairs. To apply for the OCI card, please go to the Online OCI Registration Form. We recommend applying for the OCI card as soon as you have made the decision to join the Fellowship, as it takes approximately 1-3 months to receive the card.
(d) Commitment & Location :
You should be willing to make a full-time commitment to teaching and living in one of our placement cities (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad) starting June 2013. Fellows of the program will be full-time staff members of the schools in which they are placed, and will work stipulated school hours, six days a week.
(e) English Fluency :
You should be fluent in English as Teach For India Fellows will be placed in English-medium schools and will be expected to conduct training in English.
(f) Age Limit :
There is no age limit to apply for Teach for India Fellowship Program.

The second step is to fill in the application form. The form is the first place where you can familiarise us with your achievements and thoughts.

Application Terms and Conditions :
** Teach for India will not accept hard-copy applications. Please do not print and mail hard-copy applications to Teach For India.
** Please note that you are not asked to submit a CV/Resume or Cover Letter/ Personal Statement as part of the application.
** Each applicant will be allowed ONLY ONE application for the 2013 Fellowship.
** There will be no fees charged for filling and submitting the online application form.
** Applications are non-binding.
Application deadlines for Fellowship Program 2013 are as follows:
** 29th August, 2012
** 31st October, 2012
** 12th December, 2012
** 30th January, 2013
Selection Process :
We will choose Fellows based on a multi-stage admissions process. The selection for the 2013 Fellowship will include the following stages:
(a) Review of online application
(b) Phone interview (not applicable for all candidates; certain candidates may be invited to the Assessment Centre stage directly after their online application is reviewed)
(c) Assessment Centre, which is a full day session where the applicants go through a group discussion, a sample teaching session, a written critical thinking test and a personal interview.
Additionally, once selected, we will ask you to furnish references of people you have worked with professionally or your professors who will be able to vouch for your performance and suitability for the role.

What is the age limit?
There is no age limit to apply for Teach for India Fellowship Program.

I am pursuing my graduation from ITS, Mohan nagar, Sahibabad. I am in IVth sem and after completing my exams i am looking forward for summer internship, so can i get a summer internship in your organisation. I am looking forward for your reply. Kindly reply me as soon as possible
