Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC 2012:
Applications are invited from eligible students of National Capital Territory of Delhi upto 15.09.2012 between 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM belonging to OBC notified by the Central/State Government pursuing education from Class 1st to 10th in Govternment/ Aided Schools/ Institute or Private School/Institute recognized by approved authority, public schools affiliated to Directorate of Education/ Kendriya Vidyalaya/ National Open School/Schools affiliated to NDMC/Municipal Corporation of Delhi/Delhi Cantonment Board for awarding Pre-Metric scholarship. The scheme is specially meant for Other Backward Classes having domicile of NCT of Delhi

Schools affiliated to South Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation:
** Eligible students studying in schools affiliated to South Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and East Delhi Municipal Corporation may submit their forms to Head of School/ Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal to zone concerned. Eligibility :
Scholarship will be granted in the case of students whose Parents/Guardians annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 44,500/- (Rs forty four thousand and five hundred only)

Conditions for Scholarship :
** Amount of scholarship will be credited to the students personal bank account
** Students claiming benefits under the scheme shall not be allowed to get benefits under any other pre-metric scholarship scheme
** The students may not be allowed to take up employment of under help to parents in their work during the course of studies
** The scholarship will be discontinued if a student fails to secure annual promotion except in case of unavoidable reasons to be certified by the competent authority of the scheme
** If a student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship, scholar may be suspended or even cancelled subject to satisfaction of the competent school authority
** Migration of students from one institution to another would not normally be allowed during the course of academic year except under exceptional circumstances and in the interest of students academic career
** The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick shall be decided by the competent authority of the school

Class 1st to 5th :
Rate for Day Scholar for ten months : Rs.250/-
Ad-hoc grant(per annum) : Rs.500/-
Total benefit(per annum) : Rs.750/-

Class 3rd to 7th :
Rate for Hosteller for ten months : Rs.2000/-
Ad-hoc grant(per annum) : Rs.500/-
Total benefit(per annum) : Rs.2500/-

Class 6th to 8th :
Rate for Day Scholar for ten months : Rs.400/-
Ad-hoc grant(per annum) : Rs.500/-
Total benefit(per annum) : Rs.900/-

Class 9th to 10th :
Rate for Hosteller for ten months : Rs.500/-
Ad-hoc grant(per annum) : Rs.500/-
Total benefit(per annum) : Rs.1000/-
