NIIT Turning Point Scholarship 2012 for Graduates and Undergraduates :
It's time to celebrate those board exam results again. The results that got you much praise and a college admission now make the career enhancing GNIIT and Express Diploma programmes far easier to join. It's simple. The more you scored in your Class XII boards, the larger the Turning Point Scholarship.In last 21 years, over 4.8 lakh students have benefited from NIIT's Scholarship Programme. Now it's your chance to avail the scholarship benefits.

Eligibility :
The Turning Point Scholarship will be awarded to
** College/Engineering students.
** Graduates from all discipline.
** Students who have completed Class 12.

How to Apply :
** Applying for the Turning Point Scholarship is easy.
** Apply online by filling the scholarship application form on this website.
** Keep the scanned copy of your Class XIIth marksheet handy and upload the marksheet after you have filled the form.
** Then walk in to your nearest NIIT centre with a copy of your Class XII mark-sheet (If you have not uploaded the same on the website)
** You will be awarded the Turning Point Scholarship based on your Class XII marks.

Impartant Dates :
** Scholarship applications will be accepted from 1st August 2012.
** The last date to apply for the scholarship is 30th September 2012.

Programmes Offered :
** GNIIT for Undergraduates :
** The new GNIIT programme prepares college students for a successful entry into the professional IT world by making them job-ready, the day they graduate. Students get the benefit of a dual qualification and a year's internship with the Professional PracticeTM module. The programme maximizes career opportunities by preparing students for multiple exit profiles in diverse fields of IT.

Programme Eligibility :
** Students currently in the 1st or 2nd year of college in any stream.
** Students currently in the 1st or 2nd or 3rd year of Engineering.
** Students who have cleared Class 12 in 2012.

Details of the Turning Point Scholarship for the GNIIT programme :
Class XII Results - GNIIT Scholarship
** >=95% - 50%
** >=80% and <95% - 35%
** >=70% and <80% - 25%
** >=50% and <70% - 20%

Note :
Scholarship applicability is subject to standard programme eligibility criteria. Select programmes are available at select centres. Turning Point Scholarship is subject to the availability of the Class XII mark-sheet. NIIT reserves the right to revoke the Turning Point Scholarship in case of any discrepancy.

Express Diploma for Graduates :
NIIT Express Diploma programmes are accelerated, placement backed, technology specialisation programmes that help fresh graduates and students of final year of graduation take their first step towards an IT career. Express Diploma programmes are offered in Java. .NET, Software testing & SQA using IBM Rational, Web designing using LAMP technologies, Computer Applications, Core Programming, Hardware Networking, Finance and Accounting and Financial Accounting using Tally ERP9.

Programme Eligibility :
** Fresh Graduates and students in the final year of graduation in any stream.

Details of the Turning Point Scholarship for the Express Diploma programmes :
Class XII Results - Express Diploma Scholarship
** >=80% - 20%
** >=50% and <80% - 10%
