It is proposed to fill up the following positions of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in different research projects at this Institute. The eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling the requirements are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview, etc. on 01.10.2012 at 09.30 A.M. in the campus of this Institute.

1.Project Title : DST Project “Gene expression studies and development of functional markers for anthracnose disease in Capsicum species”
Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow

Qualification :
Masters Degree in Plant Breeding/ Plant Pathology/ Horticulture with specialization in Vegetable Breeding.
NET qualified candidates may be preferred.

2.Project Title : “Bio prospecting of genes and allele mining for abiotic stress tolerance”
Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow
No. of post : 01 (one)
Qualification :
Masters Degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology with working experience in Molecular Markers.
Desirable : Working experience on Vegetable crops and knowledge of bioinformatics.

Age : Not more than 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women
Pay (consolidated) : Rs. 16000/- p.m. fixed + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000 + HRA for 3rd year as per rules.
