Applications are invited from eligible local candidates for filling up of 25 (Twenty Five) posts in the junior grade of Sikkim State Civil Service as Under Secretary and equivalent on temporary regular basis in PB-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs. 5000/- under Government of Sikkim.

1. Minimum Essential Educational Qualification : Graduate Degree from a recognised University.
2. Other Essential Requisites :
i) Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the Competent Authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
ii) Should have valid employment card.
iii) Should be conversant with the customs and usages of Sikkim.
iv) Should have knowledge of any of the State languages.

Age : Should have attained the age of 21 yrs. but should not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st September 2012.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Plan of Examination The competitive examination comprises of following successive stages;
i. Sikkim State Civil Services (Preliminary) Examinations (Objective Type), for the selection of candidates for main examination.
ii. Sikkim State Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written) & Interview.

by hand or by post on or before 03:00pm on 18/10/2012.

Last Date : Last date for submission of filled-in application form is 03:00pm Thursday eighteenth of October 2012 (18/10/2012).

Note : The form should be filled up by the candidate himself/herself in his own handwriting in CAPITAL LETTERS and submitted in the office of the Sikkim Public Service Commission on any working day between 11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. on production of original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim, for Rs. 150/- credited to ‘0051-SPSC’.
