In pursuance of MHRD’s directions and subsequent decision of the JEE Apex Board on JEE (Main) and (Advanced) held on 25.08.2012, the JEE (Main) Examination, 2013 (hitherto known as AIEEE - Paper I) for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held during April, 2013.
The JEE (Main) (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) for B.E./B.Tech will be held in two modes, viz offline and online (CBT). The offline examination for JEE (Main) will be held on 7th April, 2013 and the online examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013.
The examination (Paper II of earlier AIEEE) for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be held on 7th April, 2013 in offline mode only. The merit list for admission to NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will be prepared by giving 40% weightage (suitably normalised) to class XII (or equivalent examination) or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the performance in JEE (Main) Examination.
The JEE (Main)-2013 (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) will have one objective type question paper. The paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of the paper will be 3 (Three) Hours. The Paper II for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs will have one Question Paper consisting of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing Test as per past practice of AIEEE. The duration of the paper will be 3 (Three) Hours. Detailed bulletin is being prepared and will be published shortly.
Only 1,50,000 of the top rankers in JEE (Main), which includes students from all categories (GE, OBC (NCL), SC and ST) will be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced)-2013 (hitherto known as IIT-JEE) for admission to IITs, IIT BHU and ISM Dhanbad. Notice in this regard has been issued by the IIT system separately.

Please tell the difference between JEE Main Paper I and II.
The JEE (Main) (Paper I of earlier AIEEE) for B.E./B.Tech will be held in two modes, viz offline and online (CBT). The offline examination for JEE (Main) will be held on 7th April, 2013 and the online examinations will be held thereafter in April, 2013.

I have passed class 12 in 2013 and by mistake, i have wrongly filled yes as an option in the appearing for the improvement for class 12 in my application form. Is there any chance to correct? What should I do? My application number is 30345232 in jeemain examination.
I made a mistake in application form of JEE main. What can I do to correct it?

I am Jaswinder Singh. I have forgotten to write the name and dates below the photo in JEE main application form but, my photo is clearly attested by Gazetted officer. Please give me answer or information about registration rejection.

It has been noticed that aspirants of JEE(Main) -2013 have committed mistakes while filling particulars in their online registration form. Keeping in view, the hardship of the candidates, the Board has decided to display the particulars of the candidates on the JEE(Main) website in the second week of Jan 2013 so that the candidates can rectify their incorrect particulars except change of examination cities and option for change of mode of examination from Computer Based Examination (online) to Pen & Paper based examination (Offline).
Candidates who have forgotten to put signatures, thumb impression, to obtain signature of parent/guardian, mailing address not mentioned on the form and to paste photographs duly attested are also advised to download duplicate copy of Confirmation Page, complete the same in all respect and forward the completed form to the JEE(Main) Unit.
It is notified for information of the aspirants of JEE(Main) that they should periodically visit the website of JEE(Main) i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in for rectification of the particulars.
Candidates must write their application no. on the letter/email before sending the request to JEE (Main) unit.

What is the age limit for JEE main?
Date of Birth :
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PwD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1983 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate will only be considered.

What is eligibility for JEE MAIN exam?
Eligibility for appearing in JEE (Main) 2013:
Date of Birth:

Year of Passing Qualifying Examination (QE):
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2011 or 2012; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any other qualifying examination in 2013 are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) - 2013. Candidates who passed Class 12th /Qualifying examination in 2010 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2014 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)-2013. Candidates who appeared in class 12th /other Qualifying Examinations in 2010, did not pass in 2010, but passed in 2011 are also not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2013.
Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th /any other Qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main). In the year 2013 however, the candidates who have taken four subjects are also permitted to write JEE 2013 as an exception.
Number of Attempts:
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three).
Candidates are also advised to note the eligibility for appearing in Jee (advanced) – 2013 as well as eligibility for admission to various Institutes. By being eligible to write jee (main) and by obtaining an all India rank in jee (main), a candidate does not automatically become Eligible for admission.

My name is Amarjeet singh. My register number is is 30431420 and i could not correct my jee-main form due to medical reasons regarding improvement, as i dont want to give improvement exam but i have marked it in the form. Now sir what i have to do?

Jeemain paper-2
I Got pas in my 12 exam wit 51% n also pas in jeemain paper-2 but fail in maths so am i eligible 4 admission
