Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh, with UNDP as the lead agency, funded by Global Environment Facility (GEF) are implementing a project “Mainstreaming Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Conservation into Production Sectors in the Godavari River Estuary, Andhra Pradesh, India with a special focus on the Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary. Recruitment Qualifications :
Education and Experience :
i) Post Graduate degree/ Phd in fisheries or any other relevant subject.
ii) Outstanding communication, project management and organizational skills
iii)At least 5 years of work experience in Fisheries sector, preference will be given for experience in Fisheries sector best practices.
iv) Familiarity with the working environment and professional standards of international organizations, National and State Governments.
v) Working experience with GOI institutions involved in sustainable development/ community empowerment/ natural resource management
vi) Experience in working with NGOs and civil society, and with participatory approaches
vii) Proficiency in English and computer literacy is essential
viii) Age no bar - Retired persons with good health can also apply.

Language Requirements :
Fluency in English, language of the duty station (Telugu), excellent drafting and verbal communication skills.

Duration : 100 Days (in a span of 5 months)
