WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for RESEARCH INTERNSHIP

CSIR Madras Complex, Chennai for award of four (04) numbers of Research Interns under the new scheme “CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Awards” launched on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee celebrations of CSIR, tenable at NML Madras Centre, (a Regional Centre of National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur), CSIR Madras Complex, Tharamani, Chennai–600 113, as follows;

Qualifications : M.Sc. Chemistry B.E. / B.Tech. Chemical Engineering / B.Tech. Mineral Processing
General Condition : Applicant should have secured FIRST CLASS or equivalent GPA in the above mentioned Examination.
Stipend : Rs.15,000/= per month (Consolidated). No other allowances will be paid.
Age : Should not exceed 25 years as on 20.09.2012.
Date & Time of Walk in Interview : Thursday September 20, 2012 at 09.30 a.m.

Tenure : The internship shall be tenable for a maximum period of two years from the date of joining, subject to performance review every six months, and not extendable under any circumstances.

i) Application format can be downloaded from the website.
ii) Interested candidates may walk-in on September 20, 2012 at 09.30 a.m. with an application in the prescribed format appended, along with original and attested copies of certificates and testimonials in proof of Age, Qualification and Community (for SC/ST/OBC) and recent passport size photograph affixed on the application.

Note :
i) You will have to undergo a written test, before interview, if required
ii) Fresher’s will be eligible for interview, only if they are able to produce, at least, the Provisional Certificate or a consolidated mark sheet with the results.
