Applications are invited from sportspersons who have any of the following achievements in Basketball (Men & Women), Volleyball (Men & Women) and Football (Men) for appointment in Kerala State Electricity Board under Sports Quota for the year 2012.

Eligibility :
a. Those who have represented the Country in International competitions during the current year or immediately preceding two years, ie from 1st January 2010 to till date.
b. Those who have represented the State in Youth / Junior / Senior category in National championships during the current year or immediately preceding two years, ie from 1st January 2010 to till date.
c. Those who have represented the State in National Games during the current year or immediately preceding two years, ie from 1st January 2010 to till date.
d. Those who have represented University in the Inter Zone Championship conducted under the auspices of the Association of Indian Universities during the current year or immediately preceding two years, ie from 1st January 2010 to till date.
e. Those who have attended the coaching camp of the National team during the current year or the immediately preceding year in respective games ie from 1st January 2011 to till date.

No. of post : The present selection is for 15 vacancies for the following disciplines.
Basketball (Men) - 4
Basketball (Women) - 2
Volleyball (Men) - 3
Volleyball (Women) - 2
Football (Men) - 4

Age : Candidates should have completed eighteen years and should not have completed twenty three years of age as on the date of the notification.

Selection Procedure : The selection of candidates for appointment will be determined by the total marks obtained on the basis of achievements in the field of sports / games as given in para (1) above, field selection trials and interview.

Appointment : The selected sports persons will be appointed against posts commensurate to their educational qualifications. The Board reserves the right to employment commensurate with qualification and the same is not liable to be questioned in any manner. They shall represent the Board in various tournaments for a period of five years from their date of joining duty and their appointment shall be purely provisional and shall be regularised only on completion of the requisite contractual obligations.
