DESIGN OF CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR T.K. GAJJAR (OUR COLLEGE) LIBRARY

For designing CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING system, we have carried a survey of T.K.Gajjar Library building (Orientation of building, its physical dimension, columns and beams, construction material, surrounding condition, windows, etc) then we have done cooling load calculation by cooling load temperature difference / cooling load factor (CLTD/CLF) method and then designed the duct by EQUAL FRICTION METHOD.

The cooling load for READING HALL 1 (ground floor) was 36.9 TONS & for READING HALL 2 (first floor) was 44.45 TONS.

We have installed 40 TR plant for READING HALL 1& 50 TR plant for READING HALL 2 so that they can be operated according to the requirements, we have used VAPOUR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION SYSTEM.
