Applications are invited from bright, young and highly motivated individuals for the following position;

Name of the post : TELESCOPE TRAINEE
No. of Posts : Three
Age limit : Below 25 years
Place of Posting : CREST Campus, Hosakote, Bangalore
Consolidated Salary (inclusive of all) : 18,000/- per month with an annual increment of Rs.1000/-.

Qualification :
a) Essential : B.Sc. Passed with subjects Physics and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks in both subjects.
b) Desirable : Knowledge of computer programming

Tenure of appointment : Initially for one year and extendable by two more years, subject to satisfactory performance.

Job requirement : Support to Guest astronomers observing with the Himalayan Chandra Telescope during night time, and other support activities and training.
