ADMISSION TO BPO COURSE - 2012
(Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics)
Government of Karnataka in its GO No. HFW 80 MPS 2009, Bangalore, dated 15/10/2009, has authorized Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka as an agency for selection of candidates for admission to BPO course for government seats in private colleges. Henceforth, the rules and regulations formed by the committee for the selection of candidates for admission to the above course in accordance with Government order, subsequent amendments, revised rules if any as on the date of admission will apply

Academic Eligibility for Government seats to BPO course :
A candidate seeking admission to the Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics course :
i. Shall have passed the two year Pre- University examination conducted by Department of Pre- University Education, Karnataka State or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with English as one of the language and physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology as optional subjects with not less than 40% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics subjects individually to be eligible for admission to this course.
ii. Candidates shall be medically fit.
iii. Candidate should have attained the age of “17 years” on or before 31st December of the year of his/ her admission.

Duration of the course : The total duration of the course will be of 4 years

Merit List : The merit list will be announced on the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences website as per calendar of events.

REGISTRATION FEE : DD in favour of Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
General/OBC Candidates :Rs. 400/-
SC/ST and Category – I : Rs. 100/-

i) Application Form : The application form can be downloaded from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences website from 31/07/2012.
ii) How to submit :
In Person : The application filled in all respects along with the attested copies of all the required documents may be submitted for registration, in person, at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, 4th ‘T’ Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore – 560 041.
