Recruitment under Cultural Quota for the year 2012-13
Applications are invited for the 02 [two] Group 'C' posts in PB- (1) Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 against Cultural Quota for Headquarter of East Central Railway, Hajipur in the following discipline;

1.Name of the post : Singer (Female/Male)
No. of post : 1 (one)

2.Name of the post : Dancer (Female)
No. of post : 1 (one)

Educational Qualification :
[i] Matriculation and its equivalent
[ii] Possession of degree/diploma/certificate in concerned discipline from Government recognized Institute.

Desirable :
[a] Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
[b] Prizes won at National Level.

Age : 18 to 30 years [age will reckoned on 01.01.2013]

Examination Fees : Rs.40/-
Postal order/ Demand Draft should be pledged in favour of ‘FA & CAO, East Central Railway, Hajipur’ and payable at Hajipur.

Procedure for recruitment : Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc.

What is Exam Pattern?

Selection will be conducted through written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field onthe basis of Practical Demonstration and testimonials/Prizes etc. Details are given below :

1. Written Test 50 marks
(In Written Test, questions will be objective type (having 04 options of answer) which may include Mathematics, General Knowledge, General Science, Knowledge of English & Hindi Language, Professional Knowledge and Reasoning Aptitude. The standard of question will be similar to class 10th level as applicable to direct recruitment quota of RRB).

1/3rd marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

2. Practical Demonstration 35 Marks

3. Testimonial/Prizes 15 Marks (distributed as under)
(a) National level (One event- 05 marks, Two or more events- 07 marks) 07 marks
