ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for admission to MSc (Computer Science) Course under self-financed scheme for the academic year 2012-13 at various CCSIT Centres of the University of Calicut. The details of Centres are furnished below.

4.Centre for Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr.John Mathai Centre, Aranattukara, Thrissur - 680618
5.Centre for Computer Science and Information Technology, Lulu Complex, Karimpanapalam, Vatakara - 673101

Eligibility for Admission :
i) Candidates should have secured 50% marks or over all CGPA not less than 2.0 in B.Sc Computer Science,
ii) BSc Information technology and BCA Degree examination of this University or an equivalent examination of any other universities recognized by this University is eligible to apply for Admission.OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%(1.8over all CGPA).SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass(1.5over all CGPA)

Number of Seats : 24 seats in each centre.
Duration of the Course : 4 Semesters.
Mode of Selection : On the basis of the merit

Fee Structure :
Admission fee- Rs. 10,000/-
Tuition fee-Rs.15,000/ per semester
Caution Deposit (refundable after the completion of course)-Rs. 2000/-
Cost of application form – Rs.50/-

Mode of remittance :
Chalan remitted under any of the following heads of account.
1. Treasuries in Malappuram District: 8443-00-106 PD account of Calicut University.
2 Treasuries in other districts 8658-00-102-96(02) CUS
3 FRIENDS within territorial jurisdiction of University of Calicut.
4 Selected Branches of SBT.
5.University Cash Counter at Tagore Nikethan
