    RECRUITMENT OF SUB INSPECTOR (EXE)THROUGH LDCE–2012.
    It is proposed to invite applications from eligible departmental candidates for filling up of 417 vacancies (UR-324, SC-62 and ST-31) of Sub Inspector (Executive) in CISF through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) against the recruitment year 2012. However, vacancies may increase/decrease at the time of final selection.

    Eligibility
    : Only Constable/GD, Constable/Tradesmen, Head Constable/GD and Assistant Sub Inspector/Exe who have completed 4 years service including the period of training as on 01.08.2012 (i.e. those who have been appointed in the Force on or before 31.07.2008) are eligible to compete in this examination of LDCE

    Service Eligibility
    : Candidate should have completed four years of service including basic training as on 01.08.2012 as mentioned in Para-2 above.

    Educational qualification : Graduation from any recognized University.
    Clean Record : The candidates must have good ACRs for last 04 years and should have unblemished service record till the issue of offer of appointment.

    SELECTION PROCEDURE :
    The selection will consist the following;
    i) Stage-I Checking of service records.
    ii) Stage-II Written Examination
    iii) Stage-III Physical measurement.
    iv) Stage-IV Physical Efficiency Test.
    v) Stage-V Medical Examination

    Final Selection : Name of candidates will be placed in the merit list subject to the provision that candidate belonging to General category have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks i.e., 100 marks out of a total of 200 marks and candidate belonging to SC/ST category have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks i.e. 90 marks. Final selection of candidates will be made according to availability of vacancies and subject to their declaring ‘Fit’ in the medical examination.

    DIG(EZ) Patna and DIG(NEZ) Kolkata.

    Checking of service records at CISF Unit, SSG, Noida : 25.09.2012
    Written Examination : 28.10.2012
    Declaration of result who qualify in written examination : 15.11.2012
    Physical measurement, PET and Medical Examination : 03.12.2012

    What is the Physical Standard required?

    Physical Standard : As applicable to SI (Direct entry) candidates which are as under:

    i) Height Male Female
    For all candidates 170 Cms. 157 Cms.
    Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K. 165 Cms 155 Cms.
    All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. 162.5 Cms. 154 Cms.

    ii) Chest (For male only)
    For all candidates 80-85 Cms.
    All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes. 77-82 Cms.

    iii) Weight- for all candidates – Corresponding to height and age as per medical standard.
