IN SOUTHERN RAILWAY & INTEGRAL COACH FACTORY.

PART LIST FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

A recruitment process was initiated to fill up 3,592 vacancies (including 389 vacancies for Persons with Disabilities) in posts with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- (Southern Railway - 3087, ICF - 505), vide E.N.No.05/2010 dated 15.12.2010.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the Written Test held during May (6th 13th & 27th) and June, 2012 (31d 10th & 24th), 122 eligible candidates belonging to the category of Persons with Disabilities (who are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test) have provisionally qualified to be called for verification of all original documents to be held at 08.30 A.M. on 12.09.2012 & 13.09.2012 at Railway Recruitment Cell, No.5, 3`d Floor, Dr.P.V.Cherian Cresent Road, Egmore (Behind Ethiraj College) Chennai-8 subject to fulfilling all other criteria including prescribed medical standards.

The Part list of Written Test results of 122 candidates furnished in Annexure is purely provisional. .

Important Instructions:
1. Pursuant to Hon'ble High Court Delhi's judgement in the, Public Interest Litigation filed by All India Confederation of the Blind in WP(C) No.23132/2005 and orders of Railway Board, Part list of Written Test Results of those Physically Disabled candidates who have secured the minimum pass marks in the Written Test, is published.

2. Call letters for verification of original documents will be sent to the above candidates individually through post.

3. Candidates may please note that being called for Document Verification does not guarantee offer of employment.

4. Mere issue of Call letters for Document Verification will not imply that their candidature has been finally cleared by Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai.

5. The candidates should invariably bring all the original certificates in respect of (i) Date of Birth, (ii) Educational/Technical qualification, (iii) Community, (iv) Physical Disability etc. while attending Document Verification. / The Physical Disability certificate should be in the prescribed format issued by a Medical Board duly constituted by the Central or the State Government. (Format can be downloaded from www.rrcchennai.org.in)

6. The final selection of the candidates will be subject to the Verification of identity, all original certificates, satisfaction of all criteria prescribed for the post including Medical Standards, as applicable to the posts selected.

7. The final panel of successful candidates to be recommended to the Railway Administration will be limited to the vacancies notified only and they are likely to be posted anywhere in Southern Railway / Integral Coach Factory.

8. No further time will be given for submission of certificates. Candidates are advised that no request will be entertained for change of venue, date, time of Document Verification / Medical Examination under any circumstances.

9. Candidates who are called for Document Verification and found eligible on scrutiny will be sent for Medical Examination at any of the Railway Hospitals located all over Southern Railway and as such they should come prepared to stay for a week's time.

10. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for their stay while attending Document Verification and subsequent Medical Examination at the stations, to which they are directed.

11. There will be no claim for alternative appointment on the grounds of Medical unfitness , if any.

Due to heavy rain, RRC, Chennai, postponed Physical Efficiency Test (PET) scheduled to be held from 17-10-2012 to 21-10-2012. Fresh dates will be announced later.

I attended the medical test of RRC Chennai category No05/2010 but my one eye is normal and the other is 6/60. I can get any job on railway.

I have cleared my written exam for ALP post in RRB Kolkatta in 2012. I have appeared for the aptitude test on 07.11.12. Other Railway boards has declared the aptitude test result in Dec 2012. Kindly arrange to give me details of the result. If any court stay imposed for the RRB Kolkatta. Thank you sir
