The Punjab Public Service Commission invites Applications from eligible Candidates for recruitment to 02 Posts of Assistant Town Planner in the Department of Housing and Urban Development , Punjab

AGE : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age on the 1-1-2012.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
(i) (a) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in City and Regional Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute ; or (b) Degree in B. Tech (in Planning) from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard

Fee :Crossed Bank Draft of Rs.200/- drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, payable at Patiala.
Cost of Application Form :
i. At Counter (by cash) : Rs. 25/-
ii By post (Through Bank Draft) : Rs. 75/-

I am doing M.Sc in Construction Project Management from England. I have completed bachelor degree in Architecture. Am I eligible for the post of Assistant town planner as I lost my right eye in an accident last year and am having a disability certificate of 30%.

Qualification:
(i) (a) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in City and Regional Planning or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute ; or
(b) Degree in B. Tech (in Planning) from a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard
Qualification of Punjabi is essential for these posts (relaxable for Sikh Migrants upto the extent that they will have to acquire such qualification within two years after joining the service failing which their services shall liable to be terminated). For this purpose a Matriculation or its equivalent certificate for having passed Punjabi will be necessary.
