Age as on 01.07.2012 :Not more than 32 years.

Educational qualification :
1. SC or equivalent
2. Should possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
3. Knowledge of English is desirable.

Experience :
1. 3 (Three) years of relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.
2. Experience in Fire Service Organisation /Defence Service will be preferred.
3. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres or having knowledge of fire fighting equipment such as Fire Extinguishers etc. Will be given preference.

Physical Standard :
Min. Height : 165 cms, (minimum)
Min. Weight : 50 kgs (minimum)
Chest : 81 cms(normal)
Chest : 86 cms(expansion)
Vision : 6/6without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night or Colour Blindness shall be a disqualification.

Physical Endurance Test : Candidates should qualify in physical endurance test like running 100 meters with 64 kgs. weight in one minute, climbing of rope and /or vertical pipe to a height of at least three metres from the ground. Candidates should also qualify for driving test.
