RECRUITMENT OF NON TEACHING STAFF (FEMALE STAFF NURSE /CATERING ASSISTANT / LOWER DIVISION CLERK/STORE KEEPR, )FOR JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYAS UNER PUNE REGION.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India, invites ONLINE applications through the link available on NVS, RO, PUNE Website, from eligible Indian nationals for filling up of vacancies and drawing a panel of candidates for the posts of FEMALE STAFF NURSE /CATERING ASSISTANT / LOWER DIVISION CLERK/STORE KEEPER, from UR/OBC Categories on DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas located in various districts of the Pune Region (Maharashtra/Goa/Gujrat/Diu/Daman and Dadar Nagar Havali.)

1)Name of the post : FEMALE STAFF NURSE
PAY SCALE : Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs. 4600)
UPPER AGE LIMIT : Up to 35 YEARS (As on 01.07.2012)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
A) Passed Sr. Secondary Examination (Class XII) or equivalent and
B) Grade ‘A’ (Three years) Diploma/Certificate in Nursing from a recognized Institution. OR
1) B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized University/Institution.
2) Registration with Indian/State Nursing Council.
3) Practical experience of two years in Hospital/Clinic.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : Working knowledge of Hindi/Regional Language and English.

2)Name of the post : CATERING ASSISTANT
PAY SCALE : Rs. 5200-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 2400)
UPPER AGE LIMIT : Up to 35 YEARS (As on 01.07.2012)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
1) Secondary School (X class pass), and
2) Three years Diploma in Catering or equivalent from an institution recognized by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India/State Govt. OR
Passed Sr. Secondary (Class XII) from CBSE with Hotel Management and Catering as Vocational subject and at least one year experience in catering. OR
Passed Sr. Secondary (Class XII) or equivalent and one year diploma in catering or equivalent from a recognized institution with three years experience in catering in reputed institution/hotels.
OR
Trade proficiency Certificate in Catering with a minimum of 10 years service in Defence Services of regular establishment (for Ex-servicemen only).

3)Name of the post : LOWER DIVISION CLERK/STORE KEEPER
PAY SCALE : Rs. 5200-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900)
UPPER AGE LIMIT : 18 TO 27 YEARS (As on 01.07.2012)

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Senior Secondary (Class XII) Certificate from a recognized Board with 50 % marks and possessing minimum speed 35 words per minutes in English typewriting or 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting on computer. OR
Passed +2 level of senior Secondary from CBSE/State Board with secretarial practices and office management as vocational subjects.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :
(i) Knowledge of computer operations and data entry acquired either as a subject at +2 level or through 6-months Diploma in computers from a recognized institution or through Computer Literacy Certificate at school level.
(ii) Experience in accounts/administrative matters in Govt./Semi,Govt./Autonomous organization.

MODE OF SELECTION : The candidates will have to appear in a Written Examination/Trade Test for the recruitment to the above mentioned posts.

FEE : Rs.500/-
The DD should be drawn in favour of Deputy Commissioner, NVS, Regional Office, Pune payable at Pune.
