National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Chennai, a technical arm of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India, is functioning with broad objectives of promoting technology development in various mission mode activities in Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resource utilisation. The Institute proposes to engage personnel on contract basis with consolidated emoluments at BhavNagar, Gujarat to attend any field requirements along Gujarat Coast under KALPASAR Project.

Consolidated Salary Rs. : Rs. 44, 600/- p.m.
Age Limit : 35 years
Essential : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university/Institute with at least first class (60%).
Desirable : Experience with installation and servicing of Oceanographic Sensors like tide gauges, currents meters.
Job Requirement :Installation and servicing of oceanographic observatory equipments, survey, data processing. The job will involve extensive travel and participation in boat surveys and field work in gulf of khambhat initially.

Essential : Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent from a recognized university/Institute with at least first class (60%).

Job Requirement : To assist scientists in installation and maintenance of oceanographic observatories. The job will involve extensive travel and participation in boat surveys and fields work in gulf of Khambhat initially.

Consolidated Salary Rs. : Rs. 28,300/- p.m.
Age Limit : 40 years
Essential :
1. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized University, basic knowledge of computer.
2. Minimum 15 years experience in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ in the relevant area.
Desirable : Post Graduation. Experience in administration, accounts, stores and purchase with audit. Candidate should have good communication skill.
Job Requirement : General administration of field office and report to head quarters at Chennai. The tasks will involve maintenance of office correspondence, accounts and stores inventory, local purchases, travel arrangements and assisting NIOT personnel in carrying out their technical work.
