Hitachi’s software division is in a business of contributing to IT society by creating valuable software and services. It provides one-stop services for various products and platform systems related to the information. Currently all the departments are not integrated by result of which Sharing of data is minimal and if any analysis has to be done in that case data needs to be pulled from various sources which is very time consuming and difficult to keep everything in sync. This project was a solution to the existing problems by building a warehouse which will be having all the departments’ necessary information so that Business Analysis can be done at a better level in lesser time and lesser effort.
Responsibilities :
- Interacted with the business users in analyzing and preparing the OBI data, report requirements
- Created/Modified Metadata repository (.rpd) by using Administration Tool : Physical, Business Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers.
- Created connection pools, imported the physical tables and then creating aliases, defined joins and implemented authorizations in the physical layer of the repository.

- Developed the new metadata definitions, new Subject areas in the OBIEE Repository which involved working with the Physical, Business Model and Mapping and Presentation Layers of the Repository
