Scholarships
National merit scholarship
The amount of scholarship is Rs.300 per month for hostellers and Rs. 120 per month for day scholars. Eligibility is based on the candidates performance in the SSLC examination. The annual income of the candidates parents should not exceed Rs. 50,000.

Merit scholarship for teachers children
The amount of scholarship is Rs. 1500 for 12 months. Eligibility is based on the candidates performance in the school final examination.

BC scholarship
The amount of scholarship is Rs. 55 per month for boarding and lodging charges. Eligible candidates are BC students whose parents income does not exceed Rs. 50,000 p.a.

DNC/MBC scholarship
The scholarship consists of Rs. 80 per month for boarding and lodging charges, Rs. 180 for tuition fee, Rs. 40 for special fee, exam fee for one semester, and Rs. 100 to Rs. 150 for books. Eligible candidates are MBC/DNC students whose parents income does not exceed Rs. 50,000 p.a.

Harijan welfare scholarship for SC students
The scholarship consists of boarding and lodging charges of Rs. 280 per month for 12 months, special fee of Rs. 500, exam fee. Eligible candidates are SC/ST students whose parents income does not exceed Rs. 60,965 p.a.

Defence Servicemen scholarship
The scholarship consists of Rs. 400 per year, tuition fee of Rs. 600, special fee of Rs. 40. Eligible candidates are children of Defence Service personnel.

Political sufferer scholarship
The scholarship consists of Rs. 400 per year and tuition fee of Rs. 600. Eligible candidates are children of political sufferers.

Fee concession
SC/ST/SC Convert students will be exempted from payment of tuition fee as per GO No. 722SW Dt.13.10.77. Loan to hosteller SC students The amount is Rs. 7000 per year. Eligible candidates are SC/ST students residing in hostel. No income limit is applicable.

Free education for SC/ST students
The scholarship consists of tuition fee, special fees, exam fees and all other eligible fees. Eligible candidates are SC/ST students whose parents income does not exceed Rs. 50,000 p.a. No other family member should be a graduate. The candidate should be the first entrant to this professional course in his/her family.

Free education for BC/MBC and DNT students
The scholarship consists of tuition fee, special fees, exam fees and all other eligible fees. Eligible candidates are BC/MBC and DNT students whose parents income does not exceed Rs. 50,000 p.a. No other family member should be a graduate. The candidate should be the first entrant to this professional course in his/her family.

Other scholarships include Ex-servicemen scholarship, Physically handicapped scholarship and Meyyammai Achi and Vasantha Achi scholarship

The Directorate of Collegiate Education, Chennai - 6 is the sanctioning authority for National Merit Scholarship and Merit Scholarship for Teacher's Children.

The Director of Technical Education, Guindy, Chennai - 25 is the sanctioning authority of Defence Servicemen scholarship and Political Sufferer scholarship.

The Pricipal, ACCET is the sanctioning authority of BC scholarship, DNC/MBC scholarship, Harijan welfare scholarship for SC students, Meyyammai Achi and Vasantha Achi scholarship, Fee Concession, Free Education to SC/ST students and BC/MBC and DNT students.

The Director of Harijan Welfare, Chennai - 25 is the sanctioning authority of the loan to hosteller SC students. The Secretary, Amalgamated Fund for Ex-Servicemen, Chennai - 17 is the sanctioning authority of Ex-Servicemen scholarship.
