Employment Notice No.2/2010 (Group – D Recruitment) Vacancies: 3007

1.As a result of written examinations held on 6th, 13th & 27th May 2012 and 3rd, 10th & 24th June 2012, a Provisional List of successful candidates selected to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test(PET) indicating the Control Nos. Roll Nos. & Names of candidates is given below.The list is in the ascending order of Control Numbers, and not in order of merit (Annexure – A).

2.Administration reserves the right to make additions or deletions in this list, due to any reason,which may lead to either exclusion or inclusion of candidates.

3.The PET is scheduled to be held between 08.10.12 and 19.10.12 tentatively. The exact date, venue and time of PET will be made known to candidates by way of call letters which will be despatched one month before the commencement of the PET. Candidates to the extent of three times the number of vacancies are being called, wherever available. Merely being called for PET does not entitle candidates to be selected.Final list of selected candidates will be based on merit order of candidates in the written exams, out of those who qualify in the PET.

4.PET is only a qualifying test in which male candidates have to run 1500 meters in 6 minutes and female candidates have to run 400 meters in 3 minutes.

5.The list of candidates who qualified against Physically Handicapped Quota (PHQ) has also been uploaded (Annexure – B).As there is no PET for PHQ (PWD) candidates, they are being called directly for Document Verification between 3.9.12 to 7.9.12 at RRC/Hubli.

6.Individual call letters are being sent to PHQ (PWD) candidates indicating date, time and venue for document verification.They must compulsorily bring the following original documents for verification:

(1)Proof of date of birth (2) 10th class pass/ITI or Equivalent certificate (3) Certification of Physical Disability (in prescribed proforma as given in notification) and (4) SC/ST/OBC certificate, wherever applicable (in prescribed proforma as given in notification).

7.PHQ (PWD) candidates’ Document Verification (DV) will be done as per the schedule indicated.Such candidates may note that even if they do not receive call letter for DV, they may attend the DV at RRC/Hubli on the scheduled dates.

8.PHQ (PWD) candidates found suitable during document verification will be directed for medical examination.They should come prepared to stay 2-3 days besides the day of Document Verification at their own expense.
