Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) emerged as a new Company in the year 2002, after demerger from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. It is the first factory of its kind to use associated natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer. The production Units of the Corporation situated at Namrup, Assam have been revamped and modernized recently. BVFCL have two Ammonia and two Urea plants in operation with total production capacity of 5.55 lakhs MT of Urea per annum.

The Company is looking for dynamic and result oriented Executives for filling up the posts mentioned below;

1.Name of the post : General Manager (Marketing)

Age limit (Max) as on 1. 8.2012 : 55 years
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20500- 500-26500/- Minimum gross pay Rs.73,500/-
Job requirement : As a GM (Marketing) he will function as overall in-charge of Marketing and be responsible for planning, budgeting, cost control, building /nourishing channel network, brand promotion ventures particularly for finished product (fertilizers) growth target as well as sales/collection, distribution in all the states. Knowledge and expertise in manufacturing of vermin-compost & sales of Bio-Fertilizer, trading of pesticides, MOP & DAP is desirable. Should be competent in team building, management of dealer network and business area administration.
Essential Qualification & experience : Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture or MBA with specialization in Marketing. Minimum 20 years experience in the line, out of which at least 8 years in senior managerial/executive position. The position requires an aggressive, highly motivated person with proven record in organizing marketing of agriculture inputs, preferably fertilizer on All India basis.

2.Name of the post : Accounts Officer Gr-II

Scale of Pay : Rs.8600-250- 14600/- Minimum gross pay Rs. 31,090/-
Job requirement :The incumbent will be responsible for performing all financial jobs of the Corporation including financial accounting and budgetary control, costing and pricing, Taxation, Audit, cash credit procedure purchase and store accounts etc.
Essential Qualification & experience : Graduate with C.A. / I.C.W.A. OR B. Com/ M.Com with CA/ ICWA (Inter.) with minimum 3 years post qualification Executive experience in-line in a PSU/ large manufacturing industry with proven knowledge of latest financial procedures and laws. Preference will be given to candidates having in-line experience in Fertilizer /Chemical Industries
