REQUIREMENTS OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS AND SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS IN THE IGNCA.

Kala Nidhi serves as a major information/knowledge resource Centre to support research objectives of in- house Divisions such as Kalakosa and Janpada Sampada and technical information needs of the Cultural Informatics Lab and Kaladarsana and along with this to help researchers from academic institutions, NGOs and Govt Organizations in India and abroad.

Name of the post : Senior Research Fellows
No. of post : Two
Age Limit : 38 years for SRF as on 1.1.2012.
Qualification : M.A.in Sanskrit with minimum of 55% marks from recognized University and having research experience & knowledge of reading preferably two scripts from the list mentioned below. Scripts;
Scripts : Sharada, Grantha, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Nandi Nagari, Nevari, Bengali, Oriya .

Name of the post : Junior Research Fellows
No. of post : Three
Age Limit : 35 years for JRF as on 1.1.2012.
Qualification : M.A.in Sanskrit with minimum of 55% marks from recognized University and having research experience &knowledge of reading preferably two scripts from the list mentioned below. Scripts
Scripts : Sharada, Grantha Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Nand-Nagari, Nevari, Bengali, Oriya.

DURATION : The duration will be initially for a period of one year, extendable upto two years on satisfactory performance .
MODE OF SELECTION : Applications would be screened through short listing followed by interview of the candidates.
PLACE OF POSTING : The research fellows will be posted in New Delhi and/or in its Regional Offices at Varanasi, Bangalore and Guwahati.
