Job Description
Required manager capable of running a small development team for telecom OSS/BSS applications. Excellent domain knowledge, technical and project management skills expected. All development in Java & SQL.

Desired Candidate Profile
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A MINIMUM OF 7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH QUALITY EXPERIENCE IN J2EE & RDBMS.

We require a self-motivated, Engineering Manager who can create and manage a product development team of 8-10 members.

Work involves maintenance of a leading Indian Telecom OSS/BSS product including broadband billing, network management & security systems. The profile also presents opportunities to work on complete product lifecycles.

Candidates will be assumed to have relevant experience with good knowledge of Java/J2EE, PostgresSQL, Oracle and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage entire product development lifecycle
* Help architect solutions with VP-Engineering & CTO
* Execute engineering plans & ideas to realize products
* Ensuring daily running of OSS/BSS group
* Coding and troubleshooting tough problems for the team
* Meeting customers for specific deployment & project understanding
* Maintain timelines for product versioning and releases
* Maintain a cohesive, motivated team with the OSS/BSS group
* Allocate and optimize team resources

Key Skills:
* Project Management

* Development experience with Enterprise Class applications in Java/J2EE & RDBMS (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
* Excellent knowledge of Core Java, Java J2EE, JSP Servlets, EJB, Struts, JBoss or other App Server, iBatis, Hibernate
* Good experience in developing applications using MVC/MVC2 architecture.
