For some regions of the country (Pincodes starting with 1,2,3, and 5) the tracking information will be available at the India Post site only later in the day on 25 March or on 26 March 2013.
GATE Score Card :
A Scorecard, printed on official stationery, will be issued (mailed to the correspondence address given in the application) to all the candidates for a paper whose marks are equal to or above the qualifying marks of OBC-NCL candidates in that paper, and to all qualified SC/ST/PD category candidates. (The GATE 2013 Brochure and this website had earlier stated that scorecards will be sent to all candidates above the SC/ST/PD cut off.
However, the GATE 2013 Committee has revised this policy, as stated above, because there is no value of a Scorecard for a candidate who does not qualify. All candidates can, however, view their marks and All India Rank, on the official website, and keep a printed record of it, if required). For the qualified candidates, there is no provision for issue of an additional copy GATE scorecards.
The GATE 2013 Committee with the NCB’s approval has the authority to decide the qualifying score for each GATE paper. In case any claim or dispute arises in respect of GATE 2013, it is hereby made absolutely clear that the Courts and Tribunals in Mumbai and Mumbai alone shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to entertain and settle any such dispute or claim.

Candidates whose GATE 2013 scorecards are returned undelivered to IIT Bombay (check the Speed Post Tracking link) may send an application to the “The Chairperson, GATE 2013, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai, Mumbai 400076" requesting to resend the scorecard, along with a self addressed A5 size envelope affixing postal stamp worth 40.00 on it . They must provide a copy of a standard Photo Identification card, and mention the registration number in the request letter.
Issue of Duplicate Score Card:
Duplicate score cards are normally not issued to candidates. However, in genuine cases of a loss, a duplicate GATE 2013 scorecard may be issued to candidates on request to the “Chairperson, GATE 2013, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai, Mumbai 400076?, only if the candidate:
** looses the scorecard and sends as a proof the copy of FIR lodged in the police station of the area where the student lost the scorecard, or
** accidentally damages the scorecard beyond recognition and the candidate produces an affidavit made in a court of law declaring that they (candidate) have accidentally damaged the original scorecard beyond recognition (cause should be mentioned), or
** accidentally damages the scorecard which is still recognizable, but cannot be used as a certificate any more, and sends the damaged scorecard.
The candidate will be issued a GATE 2013 scorecard with the word ‘Duplicate’ written on it and authenticated by the signature of the Chairperson, GATE 2013.
The candidate has to first send the following:
** An application on plain paper, requesting for duplicate GATE 2013 scorecard stating the reason and providing the appropriate document mentioned above. The candidate’s GATE 2013 registration number must be mentioned in the application.
** A Demand Draft for 250.00 drawn in favour of the “Registrar, IIT Bombay” as a fees for the duplicate scorecard.
