Notification for UGC sponsored Project fellow
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for ONE position of PROJECT FELLOW in the UGC sponsored Major Research Project along with Curriculum Vita providing details of email, contact number, address for communication and attested/scanned copies of certificates with a passport size photo.

Name of the post : Project Fellow
Stipend : Rs. 14, 000/- per month for the First Two Years and Rs.16000/- per month for the Third Year.
Duration of the Project : 3 Years
Title of the Project : “Identification of sources of groundwater salinisation in parts of Nagapattinam and Karaikal coastal aquifers; A Geophysical, Hydrochemical and Isotopic approach”

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc Geology/ Applied geology or M.Phil with 55% of marks. Preference will be given to UGC-CSIR NET passed candidates.
Desirable : Knowledge in Hydrogeochemistry, GIS, Remote sensing and Resistivity methods.
