Mahabank Merit (MBM) Scholarship
New Scholarship Scheme for Meritorious Students.

AIM :
Recognising the talents of meritorious students.
Inculcating savings habits amongst youth.

Features :
i. Scholarship to meritorious students who have passed 10th Standard Examination conducted by the State Board/ CBSE/ ICSE in the just concluded academic year.
ii. TWO MERITORIOUS STUDENTS FROM EACH DISTRICT (ONE from State Board and ONE from Central Boards (like CBSE, ICSE), shall be selected from 247 districts where BOM is having branch network.
iii. Scholarship of Rs. 500/- PM will be awarded for a period of ONE YEAR to selected 2 awardees in each of 247 districts.
iv. Scholarship money will be credited directly to existing or new accounts of selected students with Bank of Maharashtra.

The Award will include the following
1. Citation (A certificate in recognition of merit).
2. In principle sanction of Education Loan which may be availed after passing 12th Standard (subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria at the time of Availment).
3. The winners will be featured in local leading newspapers and will get national recognition through our Bank’s website.

Selection Process :
1. Interested students have to apply on-line and submit print outs duly forwarded by the Principal/ Head Master of the school at any of the BOM branches.
2. The Application Form will be made available on the Bank's website bankofmaharashtra.in for online submission.
3. Copies of the mark sheet provided by the Board/ Council, duly attested by the Principal/ Head Master of concerned school, should be attached to the application form for verification .
4. District wise selection will be done, amongst the authorized applications, on the basis of percentage of marks scored in aggregate.
5. List of selected students will be published in the Bank's website .
6. Direct communication will be sent to the selected students and their schools.
