Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a group company of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is looking for suitable Indian nationals with relevant qualification and experience for absorption in the following Management position for its 3 MMTPA capacity refinery at Numaligarh in the District of Golaghat, Assam. The township has all basic modern amenities needed for day to day life. There is a Delhi Public School located inside the township which is managed by the Delhi Public School Society with provision for catering education up to Class XII. The township also has a full fledged hospital managed by the Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, a voluntary organization.

Grade and Pay Scale : Grade – B, Rs. 29100-54500 / Grade – C, Rs. 32900-58000

Educational Qualification :
Essential :
** 1st Class Degree in Law from a recognized University/ Institute.
** Proficiency in computer applications.
Desirable :
Post Graduate qualification in Law with specialization in Commercial/ Corporate Law.

Minimum Experience (as on 01/06/2012) for Grade ‘B’ :
Must have a post qualification experience of minimum five years as a practicing Advocate either as Associate/ Partner of a Legal Firm or Independent Practice. OR
Experience of working as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a Public Sector Company with at least one year as a practicing Advocate either as Associate/ Partner of a Legal Firm or Independent Practice, totaling minimum 5 years experience.
Subject to meeting the above requirements, Candidates with total post qualification experience of 9 years or more may be considered for placement in Grade ‘C’.

Selection :
The selection process shall consist of Personal interview of shortlisted candidates. “The Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria and/or to conduct a screening test, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, if so required.” Candidates will have to qualify in the Interview to be adjudged suitable for empanelment for Appointment. The Offer of Appointment shall be issued to the suitable candidates in the order of merit and based on the number of vacancies. However the final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to candidates being found medically fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per NRLs Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness.
