Job Description
DESIGN REVIEW & COORDINATION:
To assist subcontracted civil works in line with project milestone schedule requirements
Ensure the works meets Indian standards optimization, quality engineered and durable for its life period with complete safety, MS and environment compliance.
Assist to maintain a drawing register showing the status of each drawing
Minimize variations to the subcontractor's scope and be accountable for ensuring budgets are bettered.
Take part in weekly meetings with civil team Ensure civil BOQ's are in line with specification requirement, accurate and released for procurement in a timely fashion
Assist in project requirements and schedule deliverables
Supervision of approved civil specifications and vendors, supervise the work to its completion
Execution of temporary establishments/offices at site location as per drawing / scheme.
Witness survey and geotechnical investigations at site and its documentation.
Initial quantity survey, preparation of BBS for assisting material requirement planning.
Daily site progress report for input to MIS
Monitor daily site progress and productivity and highlight/provide feedback in case of deviation.
Basic role as frontline site supervisor/engineer

PLANNING:
Ensure the civil works complete in schedule with safety & productivity
Civil BOQ's checked & released for procurement in a timely manner
Assist project control and scheduling engineer in preparing 2 week look ahead programs

He/She should possess good communication skills and be able to solve problems.
