AGE : 45 years to 55 years as on 01-01-2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : B.E/B.Tech. and M.E/M.Tech. in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology with 1st Class Degree at B.E/B.Tech. or M.E/M.Tech. level with Ph.D. Degree in Engineering. Highly desirable in post Ph.D. publication and guiding Ph.D. students.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600/- to Rs.39,100/- with AGP of Rs.6000/- PM plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
Age : Minimum 21 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01-01-2012.
Educational Qualification : Master Degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks (5% marks relaxable in case of SC/ST differently able, Physically & Visually differently able) and NET or SLET qualified. -Or- Master Degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks (5% marks relaxable in case of SC/ST differently able) and Ph.D. Degree in appropriate discipline.

i) Application forms are obtainable from Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on requisition stating clearly the name of post and Department accompanied by a self-addressed unstamped envelope of 23x10 cms and will be supplied upto 4.00 PM during the office hours except Sunday and holidays.
