Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class Preliminary Examination - 2012
Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class Preliminary Examination- 2012 will be held on Sunday, 16th September, 2012 at Aurangabad, Mumbai and Nagpur District Centres.Online applications are invited from the candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions set out in this advertisement. The candidates qualifying the preliminary examination will only be allowed to appear for the Main Examination.

Pay scale : - Rs 27,700 – 44770 plus other allowances as per rules
1.For Advocate, Attorney or Pleader :
Age : As on 1 November, 2012 not less than 21 and not more than 35 years.
Qualification :
(1) Degree in law and must have practiced as an Advocate, Attorney or Pleader in the High Court or Courts Subordinates thereto for not less than 3 years as on 25th July, 2012.
(2) Service in Maharashtra as Public Prosecutor will be considered as practice at the Bar. OR
2. For fresh Law Graduates :
Age : As on 1st November, 2012 not less than 21 and not more than 25 years.
Qualification :
(1) Degree in law. All the examinations leading to the degree in Law should be passed in the first attempt and,
(2) Has secured in the final year examination of the degree in Law or in the case of candidate holding Masters Degree (L.L.M) in Law in final year examination not less than 55 % marks as on 25th July, 2012 OR
Conditions of Eligibility :
3.For members of ministerial staff to the High Court OR
4.For members of ministerial staff to the Courts subordinate to High Court OR
5.For members of staff working as Legal Assistant and above in the legal section of the Law and Judiciary Department in Mantralaya. OR
46.For members of ministerial Staff of the Office of the Government Pleaders attached to those courts.
Note : For 3,4,5,6 – Age as on 1st November, 2012 not less than 21 and not more than 45 years provided such employee has put in minimum three years of service after obtaining degree in law on or be fore 25th July, 2012.
Stages of Examination :
This Examination will be held in following three stages;
(1) Preliminary Examination (2) Main Examination (3) Viva-Voce
Fees :
The examination fee prescribed by Commission may be paid through any of the following modes;
(1) By prescribed challan in SBI (2) Credit Card (3) Debit Card
(4) Net Banking (5) Cash card
i) Open- Rs.260/-
ii) Backward Classes- Rs.135/-

Applications for this examination will be accepted through online system only. The application submitted other than this will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Important Details :
i)The procedure for submission of online application alongwith downloading printout of the challan for payment or making payment through credit card, Debit card, Net banking or cash card should be completed on or before 14th August, 2012 at 23.59. After that this web link will be disabled.
ii) The payment through challan in SBI should be made on or before 16th August, 2012 in working hours of the Bank. The payment made after the due date will be considered as invalid and no refund shall be made.

AGE LIMIT FOR MPSC CJJD JMFC EXAM
I HAVE A MPSC INFO PROSPECTUS CONTENTING THAT THE UPPER AGE LIMIT FOR CIVIL JUDGE JUNIOR DIVISION JMFC FOR FRESH LAW GRADUATE IS 35 YEARS. BUT ONLINE INFO TELLS THAT IT IS 25 YEARS. PLEASE TELL ME EXACT LIMIT.
