Assam Agricultural University is going to fill up the following vacancies;

1.Name of the post : Programme Co-ordinator
No. of post : 3 (Three)
Pay scale : Rs.15,600/- 39,100/- + G.P.Rs 8000/-PM
Discipline : Any discipline of Agricultural /Animal Science
Essential Qualifications :
i)55% marks or an equivalent OGPA of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scales at the Master’s degree level from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
ii) 5 years of service experience in the rank of Assistant Professor in teaching/ research/extension excluding periods spent for obtaining Ph.D. degree.
iii) Ph.D. degree in any field of the concerned discipline.
iv) Has made some mark in areas of scholarships as evidenced by quality of publications in relevant discipline, contribution to educational /extension innovation, design of new courses and curricula etc. Quality of publications shall be judged as per list published by National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi.

Discipline : Agronomy/Horticulture/Soil Science/Plant Protection /Extn. Education/Agril. Economics/ Animal Science/ Home Science/ Fishery Science.
Essential Qualification :
i) Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Veterinary Science & A.H./Home Science/Fisheries Science as the case may be.
ii) 55% marks or an equivalent OGPA of 3.00 in 4.00 point scale or 7.00 in 10.00 point scale at the Master’s Degree level from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
iii) Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET)

3) Name of the post : Farm Manager

Essential qualification :
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture.

Essential qualification : B.Sc. (Computer Application) or BCA or PGDCA from accredited organization.

6 .Name of the post : Office Supdt. Cum. Accountant

Pay scale Rs. 8000-35,000+GP Rs 4,900 PM
Essential qualification :
Master in Business Management/ Post graduate Diploma in Business Management/ M.A/ M.Com./C.A Or B.Com/ B.A/ Bachelor in Business Management with minimum five years of experience of working as Junior Accountant or Senior Clerk dealing with financial accounts matter.
