1. From 4th Febubery 2010 to Till Date.
Working in T S ALLOYS Ltd. (A 100% owned subsidiary unit of TATA STEEL Ltd.) near by Cuttack, Orissa as Sr. Manager (Mechanical). Presently the company has 2 nos 16.5 MVA Submerged Arc furnace, 20TPH Chrome Ore Briquette plant. The capacity of the existing plant is 50,000 MTPA of High Carbon FeCr.
The company has also approved for establishing 2 more similar furnaces & higher capacity briquette plant with a 135MW of coal based thermal power plant (in colabration with Bhubaneswar Power ltd.), which is already in the pipe line.
JOB PROFILE :
- Heading the maintenance team of the company.
- Looking after the plant modification to improve its reliabillty and availability.
- Leading the team of IMS implementation in Mechanical Department.
- Devloping SOP & SMP for the mechanical department.
- Also co-ordanating with purchase department in finalization, negotiation and follow-up with vendors for spares & new materials.

Working in VISA STEEL Ltd. (Jajpur, Orissa) as Deputy Manager (Mechanical). It’s a 2x500 TPD Sponge Iron Plant. Also having 45x2 MW Captive Power Plant, 250 cu.m Blast Furnace, Ferro-Chrome Plant & Coke Oven. Wire & Rod mill & SMS project is under progress.
JOB PROFILE :
- Responsible for 500 TPD Kiln-Cooler, Product Proccessing & Raw materials Circuit all type of equipments like crusher, screens, different type feeders, belt conveyors etc. and conveying system structural & equipment erection and commissioning.
- Planning erection, pre-commissioning & commissioning schedule.
- Leading the commissioning team and co-ordinates with other departments.
- Site procurement & spare indents.
- Looking after Billing of structural fab. & erection alongwith equipments erection of equipments.
- Handling Supply manpower during commissioning to get better manpower utilization.

3. From 13th February 2006 to 30th October 2007.
Working in Monnet Ispat in Energry Ltd. as Sr. Engineer (Project). It is a 4 X 350 TPD and 2 X 100 TPD Sponge Iron Plant. Also having 135 MW Captive Power Plant, Railway Siding, Hot Rolling Mill (plate mill) and Blast Furnace are in Project Phase.
I had successfully completed 2X100 TPD & 2x350 TPD Sponge Iron Plant (Based on ITC design), 7 nos Pulse Jet Type Bag filter, 4 nos Pneumatic Ash Handling system for ESP, Product & Raw material handling circuits.
JOB PROFILE :
- Responsible for Erection of structural, Installation and Commissioning of Kiln, Cooler, DSC, ABC, Stack Cap, Hydraulic Systems, Fans, Compressors, 07 bag-filters, 02 ESP, 04 Pneumatic ash handling system, Magnetic Separators (both Drum & Belt type), Mogansen Sizer, screens, Tooth roll & impact crushers & Conveyor circuits.
- Alignment of Kiln Shell, Cooler Shell, Girth Gears – Pinions, Drive units of Kiln & Cooler.
- Inspection of fabrication quality structural work as per drawing.
- Project execution planning and scheduling.
- Material management as per site requirements.
- Looking after Billing of Fabrication & Erection of both structural & equipments.

4. From 3rd September 2004 to 5th February 2006.
Working in Ind Synergy Ltd. Raigarh, as Sr.ENGINEER (Project). It is a 3 x 350 TPD capacity Sponge Iron plant with 24 MW WHRB Power Plant. It is an integrated Steel Plant planned for three kilns (350 x 3) TPD 24 MW (8 x 3), SMS having four furnaces 6 tons capacity each, concast (3rd Kiln & Mini Blast Furnace, 250 tons TPD Coal Washery, Railway Siding is in project phase).
JOB PROFILE :
- Successfully completed 2x350 TPD kiln green field projects.
- Responsible for Erection, Installation and Commissioning of Kiln, Cooler, DSC, ABC, Stack Cap, Hydraulic Systems, Fans Compressors, Screens, Magnetic Separator, Crusher(both Impact & Roll), Compressors (both Lobe & Screw), Pneumatic systems, Conveyors and other related equipments.
- Alignment of Kiln Shell, Cooler Shell, Girth Gears – Pinions, Drive units of Kiln & Cooler.
- Inspection of fabrication quality structural work as per drawing.
- Planning of works to get the job done in the scheduled time.
- All fabrication & erection related billing certification.
- Also looking after the Fabrication and Erection of Coal Washery, Iron Ore Crushing Unit & Power plant structural work.
5. From 4th June 2000 to 27th August 2004.
Worked with M/s Nova Iron and Steel Limited, Bilaspur (C.G.) as ENGINEER (Maintenance). It is a 500 TPD (Tons per day) capacity Sponge Iron plant supplied by LURGI (Germany). The plant is equipped with latest hydraulic and other equipments.
JOB PROFILE :
- The maintenance of the Kiln (80 mtrs), Cooler (50 mtrs) ESP (Voltas make), Lobe Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Reverse Air Type BAG Filter, Material Handling Equipments (Cone Crusher, Roll Crusher, Screens and Conveyors), Product Separation Systems(Magnetic Drum Separator).
- Alignment and balancing of machines like Fans, Main Gear Box, and Girth Gear, Pinion and drive units.
- Troubleshooting, Breakdown, Preventive & Preductive Maintenance.
- Also doing condition based monitoring of critical equipments with help of SPM device and other devices.
