ln the Recruitment Committee meeting held on 20.07.2012, the following candidates have been provisionally selected for the post of Staff Nurse in the order of merit in their respective categories based on the aggregate of the 50% of marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examination or its equivalent and 50% of marks obtained in the B.Sc.(Nursing) Degree or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery / Psychiatric Nursing or its equivalent. A deduction of 5% has been made for every additional attempt as per G.O.Ms.No.5S dated 27.07.2001 of Chief Secretariat (Health), Puducherry. In addition to this, 1.5 marks for every completed year of seniority from the date of registration of the requisite technical qualification in the Employment Exchange to the last date for receipt of duly filled in application has been added subjecto a maximum of 15 marks vide G.O.Ms.No.19 dated 27.03.2012 of the Chief Secretariat (Health), Puducherry. Thus the qualifying marks has been calculated to the maximum total marks of 115 (50+50+15). Selection is made of the persons possessing knowledge of the regionalanguage of Tamil, Malayalam or Telugu as the case may be according to the availability of vacancies in different regions of the Union Territory of Puducherry vide G.O.Ms.No 62 dated 04.10.2001 of the Chief Secretariat (Health), Puducherry and availability of the eligible candidates for respective categories in the regions.
