Applications in prescribed format are invited for the following posts in the Rubber Research Institute of India under Rubber Board at its Headquarters at Kottayam, Kerala and Regional Research Stations in different parts of India.

1)Name of the post : Scientist A (Remote Sensing)
No. of post : One
Scale of pay : Rs. 9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay Rs.4600/-.
Age : 35 years.
Qualifications : Essential: BE/B Tech/Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing/ Geology/ Physics/ Environmental Science/ Geography/Disaster Management/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture/Geo-informatics with specialization in Remote Sensing/GIS.
Desirable :
(1) Two years research experience in Remote Sensing/GIS as evidenced by published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
(2). Pass in National Entrance Tests (NET) such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or equivalent.
Place of posting : RRII, Kottayam in Kerala (with liability to serve anywhere in India).

2)Name of the post : Scientist A (Bio-informatics)
No. of post : One
Scale of pay : Rs.9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay Rs.4600/-.
Age : 35 years.
Qualifications : Essential: BE/ BTech/Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics/Life Science/Agriculture with specialization in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics.
Desirable :
(1) Two years research experience in Bioinformatics as evidenced by published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
(2) Pass in National Entrance Tests (NET) such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or equivalent.
Place of posting : RRII, Kottayam in Kerala (with liability to serve anywhere in India).

3)Name of the post : Scientist A (Climate Change)
No. of post : One
Scale of pay : Rs. 9300-34800 (PB2) Grade Pay Rs.4600/-.
Age : 35 years.
Qualifications : Essential: BE/B Tech in Environmental Science or Master’s Degree in Science/Agriculture/ Forestry/Horticulture with specialization in Meteorology/ Climate Change Science.
Desirable :
(1) Two years research experience in Climate Change studies as evidenced by published papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.
(2) Pass in National Entrance Tests (NET) such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE or equivalent.
