CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), established in 1958, is an apex R&D institute for mechanical engineering and allied disciplines under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) which is an Autonomous Body under Government of India. CSIR-CMERI is looking for dynamic and creative Security Officer. Candidates fulfilling the educational qualification, age etc. may apply in the prescribed proforma to the Administrative Officer including the Ex-Servicemen.

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade pay Rs. 4600/- plus allowances as per central Govt. rules.

Essential Qualifications : - Ex-Servicemen - Short Service Commissioned Officer OR Assistant Commandant from CRPF/BSF/ITBP etc. in the scale of 8000-13500 (pre-revised) with 05 years experience OR JCO (Subedar or higher rank) OR equivalent rank in other para-military forces with minimum of 10 years experience in security.

Job Requirement : Will be responsible for overall supervision & maintenance of day-to-day security of the office premises, Guest Houses, CMERI Colony etc. and handling other related tasks like intelligence, vigilance, fire fighting and safety standards of estate & building, residential quarters, office premises, guest house etc. of the campuses

Desirable : Graduation with good verbal & written communication skill with knowledge of computers and modern fire fighting and security monitoring systems.

AGE LIMIT :
The upper age limit for the above post shall be 35 years. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and/or experience shall be the closing date prescribed for receipt of Applications i.e. 23.08.2012.
