(e-Admit Card)

Reference advertisement and corrigendum appeared in ‘The Tribune (English)’, ‘Hindustan Times’, ‘Ajit’, ‘Amar Ujala’ and ‘Employment News’ on dated 26.05.2012 and 30.05.2012 respectively inviting on-line applications for filling up the posts of Staff Nurses in GMCH-32 and GMSH-16, Chandigarh.

This is for information of all the applicants that Written Test for the posts of Staff Nurses will be conducted on 29.07.2012 (Sunday) at various centres in Chandigarh. This Institute will upload the e-Admit Cards after 20.07.2012 for the convenience of the admitted candidates on its website www.gmch.gov.in. The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Card and take a printout thereof.

The admitted candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card alongwith attested photograph duly pasted, at the allotted venue, for appearing in the examination, which will further have to be handed over to the Invigilator by retaining candidates portion; failing which no candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam. The candidates are also advised to bring GMCH copy of challan receipt duly stamped by the SBI Bank and carry 01 (one) identical photograph alongwith proof of identity such as Identity Card or Voter Identity Cardor Passport or Driving Licence etc. etc.. No paper/separate Admit Card will be issued for this examination by this Institute.

The Written Test paper shall consist of 140 questions of multiple choice types with single correct answer of one and half hour (1 ½ hours) duration. The answer will be in the form of A, B, C & D. Each question will carry ½ mark. Out of which 120 questions would be based on subject content i.e. GNM and B.Sc Nursing and rest 20 questions would be of General English etc. of 10+2 standard. There will be no negative marking. The question paper will be only in English Medium.

All the candidates will also be informed about the Roll No. and venue of Written Test allotted to them by e-mail as per their E-mail ID in their online applications.
