Recruitment of Temporary Site Engineers (Civil) and Temporary Junior Assistants on contract basis

Eligibility Criteria
** Eligibility Criteria for filling up for Site Engineers on contract basis Minimum qualification of B. Tech/B.E. (Graduate Civil Engineering) /LCE/Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience.

** Eligibility criteria for Junior Assistants, Any Degree with Diploma in Computer Application with one year working experience in MS Office in any of the existing reputed company.

** Remuneration for site Engineers with Degree qualification is Rs. 20000/- PM, and with Diploma qualification it is Rs. 18000/- PM and for Jr. Assistants it is Rs. 8400/-PM.

** Last date of application on 21.07.2012.
** Scrutiny of Certificates by the selection committee on 23.07.2012 and 24.07.2012
** Date of Interview will be intimated to the candidate/ individually.
** Dates of interview from 25.07.2012 onwards.

** The Site Engineers shall have knowledge of construction materials, standards data as per standard schedules (SSR), Soil classification and selection of foundations.
** Estimate preparation codes, design aspects, work execution as per design/upload drawings.
** Skills of monitoring the works executed by including Repairs & Maintenance works.
** The Junior Assistants should have knowledge of General Correspondence, Office filling procedure.

Project Title: OPTIMIZATION OF FLYASH
Major Project
Project Title : HIGH VOLUME ROLLER COMPACTED CONCRETE
Project Description : Properties of concrete with FLYASH as cement replacement were studied. Reference concrete with OPC of 53 grades and FLYASH concrete with 0 - 80% FLYASH replacement in the increments of 20 with cement were made. Constant water to cementitious ratio of 0.6 was maintained for all the concretes. Properties like compressive strength, split tensile strength, water absorption and moisture migration were investigated in the laboratory. The results shown that, up to 40% FLYASH replacement the strengths were either higher than reference concrete or equal to control concrete for all curing ages. However, replacements higher than 40% resulted lower strengths than reference concrete. It was found that 20% FLYASH is the optimum content for maximum strength. Furthermore, the results of the concretes were comparable up to 40% FLYASH replacement in terms of transport properties of control concrete.
