ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF COMPANY SECRETARY IN M P POWER TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED

MP Power Transmission Co. Ltd. (MPPTCL) which is a wholly owned Govt. of Madhya Pradesh Undertaking incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, invites applications fromthe desirous eligible candidates to fill-up the position of Company Secretary.

Name of the post : SECRETARY

Details of Post :
The post of Company Secretary is on E2A grade of the Company. The selected candidate shall be offered the starting basic pay of Rs. 18,980/- in E2A grade plus other allowances as per Wages and Allowances Manual of the Company.

Qualification :
The candidate must possess qualification of ACS/FCS (Associate Membership or Fellowship of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India). The candidates possessing a degree in Law (LLB) will be given preference.

Experience : The candidate should possess minimum post qualification experience of 5 years and should have good communication skill.

Application Fees & Other Charges :
Rs. 1,000/- : Unreserved/ OBC Candidates
Rs. 250/- : SC/ST and handicapped candidates

Age Limit :
The age limit of the candidate as on 31.07.2012 shall be as under;
i) Maximum age limit for Unreserved Category Candidates - 40 years.
ii) For SC/ST/OBC/Handicapped/Divorcee/Ex. Serviceman candidates of MP State - 45 years.

Selection process :
The methodology of selection shall be based on performance of the candidate in interview. Due weightage shall be given for additional qualification of LLB. The eligible candidates possessing required qualification, experience and age limit shall be called for interview. A merit list shall be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in interview, which will be of 40 marks besides which 10 marks will be given to the candidates having qualification of LLB. Thus, overall assessment will be on 50 marks. The interview shall be organised to assess the candidate’s subject knowledge, personality, Managerial capability and command over language etc.

Documents to be furnished alongwith application format :
(i) Higher Secondary/High School Examination Certificate/Mark sheet in support of Date of Birth
(ii) Mark Sheet and Degree Certificate of Graduation and ACS/FCS. (Mark Sheet for ACS Examination should also be enclosed).
(iii) Mark Sheet/Degree Certificate in case of the candidates possessing LLB qualification. (iv) Work Experience Certificate.
(v) Documents in support of Cast Certificate in case of SC/ST and OBC category candidate.
(vi) Handicapped candidate should submit the certificate from the competent authority.
