    ** Printed Application Forms along with the CLAT-2012 Information Brochure will be available at the designated branches (refer-www.clat.ac.in) of the State Bank of India, or in any of Law Schools mentioned above against payment of Rs.3000/- only (Rs.2500/- in case of SC/ST/PWD on submission of proof) inclusive of test fee and bank charges.

    ** Request for Application Form may be sent to the Convener, CLAT-2012, National Law University, Jodhpur, NH-65, Nagour Road, Mandore, Jodhpur -342 304 (Raj.) with a demand-draft of Rs.3000/- only (Rs.2500/- in case of SC/ST/PWD) drawn in favour of the National Law University, Jodhpur CLAT A/C and payable at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

    ** Candidates can also apply online by visiting and following the instructions given at www.clat.ac.in

    ** Candidates applying on downloaded application forms must enclose Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/ Pay order of Rs.3000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in favour of "National Law University, Jodhpur CLAT A/C" and payable at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

    ** Candidates applying online should have a demand draft of Rs.3000/- (Rs.2500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in favour of "National Law University, Jodhpur CLAT A/C" and payable at Jodhpur (Rajasthan) ready before starting the procedure.
    Note : Incomplete application or application received after the last date shall not be considered. University shall not be responsible for any postal/courier delay.

    Eligibility for Under-Graduate Programmes :
    ** To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).

    ** Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.o Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability) as on 1st July, 2012.

    ** The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.

    ** Subject to State reservation at the University concerned.

    What is age limit for CLAT 2013 exam LLB graduate woman candidate?

    Eligibility for Post-Graduate Courses :
    To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2013, a candidate should have obtained a LL. B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC and ST candidates).* The candidates who have passed the qualifying degree examination through supplementary/ compartment and repeat attempts are also eligible for appearing in the test and taking admission provided that such candidates will have to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with fifty-five/fifty percent marks, as the case may be, on the date of their admission or within the time allowed by the respective universities.

    There is no mention of required age limit for PG courses on the Information Brochure.

    What is the fee structure for UG courses?

    Information regarding details of intake, reservation and the courses offered along with the fee structure is available in the CLAT-2013 Information Brochure and on the CLAT-2013 website and the websites of the concerned NLUs. The candidates are therefore advised to carefully go through the rules and fee structures of participating NLUs before filling the application form for UG as well as PG courses, and for the NRI/NRI Sponsored and Foreign National seats.

    What is the last date for submission of application? and where can I send the form?

    Duly filled-in OMR Application Form along with a copy of the Bank Challan/Cash Receipt/Demand Draft can be submitted to the Convener, CLAT-2013, either in person (from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on all working days) or through registered/speed post so as to reach the following address on or before 05:00 p.m. of 30th March 2013. The relevant certificates/documents in support of one’s claim for admission are not to be submitted along with the Application Form. The original certificates/documents (as indicated in the OMR Application Form and specified in the CLAT-2013 Information Brochure) issued by competent authority are to be submitted to the allotted University/Institute only at the time of admission.     As the Hidayatullah National Law University is located 30 kms away from the main city of Raipur and the courier services are not up to the mark, the candidates are advised not to send their applications through courier.

    Application for CLAT-2013 can also be made through online (www.clat.ac.in) including online payment of application fees and uploading of the passport size (3.5 x 4.5) photograph and scanned copy of the signature through electronic mode. Candidates applying online must visit and carefully read the instructions given in the CLAT-2013 website (www.clat.ac.in). The online payment can be made through net-banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In case of online application, the candidates will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees online through payment gateways.

    Please provide the exam pattern details for UG.

    Pattern of the CLAT Paper for Admission to the Under-Graduate Programme
    Total Marks- 200
    Total number of multiple-choice questions of one mark each - 200
    Duration of examination - Two Hours

    Subject areas with weightage:
    English including Comprehension -40 Marks
    General Knowledge/ Current Affairs - 50 Marks
    Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) - 20 Marks
    Legal Aptitude -50 Marks
    Logical Reasoning - 40 Marks

    Note: There shall be a system of Negative Marking wherein 0.25 mark will be deducted for each of the wrong answers to multiple choice questions.
