Maintenance Planner

Job Description :
The Maintenance Planner position is responsible for all planning activities for the assigned project or check by coordinating all resources, support shops and outside services as required, assisting the Program Manager in a post-check analysis, preparing and communicating the milestone charts identifying the progress of work on the aircraft, providing a daily status report to all internal and external customers, monitoring, updating and advising of daily labour requirements.

They also control and verify the correct reference revision status for work issued by Planning, assisting Clerk with work card disposition and QC, participating in day to day dock duties including DSR, chart updates and overseeing the 24 hour plan and interacting with Program Manager, QC, Supervisors, Crew Leads, Senior Leads, Clerks and Customers.

Major Responsibilities and Duties :
Consistently act in a manner which reflects Cascade Techie’s culture and values
Planning all aspects of the work required including resources required to perfom the work
Carry out Control Centre duties as required
Ensure all workplace conduct is in accordance with company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required

Core Skills :
· Excellent communication skills : both verbal and written English.
· Intermediate to advanced Computer Skills : word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
· Familiarity with Transport Canada aircraft certification procedures.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Problem solver, analytical and a team player.
· Intermediate level of organization and project management skills

Training and Experience
Education :
· Grade 12 Diploma
· Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance (Approved by TCA) or equivalent

Experience :
· Typically 1-3 years experience planning heavy maintenance on transport category aircraft.
· Typically 1-3 years performing AME duties and Crew Leader.
· Knowledge of the principles of heavy maintenance planning, estimating and billing.
· Previous planning experience an asset.
· Prefer holder of AME license or Certification Authority within the scope of their trade.
· Technical knowledge of maintenance operations on transport category aircraft.

I got a offer letter from them but when they asked to transfer an amount for visa i contacted the British embassy and they asked me to refer a uk government website i dont remember the website name and in that there is no company named cascade techie so be careful it is fraud.
