Guidelines for online registration :
Before filling up the online application :
1.Before filling the application online,please go through the notification.It is the responsibility of the candidate that he/she fulfill all requirement as notified.
2.Ensure that you possess the prescribed minimum educational qualification for the post applied for. Those awaiting results of final examination or the qualifying certificates need not apply.
3.Fill in all the fields. Give complete details in all columns.
4.Check and fill in your name, father's name, date of birth, address with state and pincode and all the other required particulars correctly.
5.Ensure caste certificate for SC/ST candidates from competent authority in the prescribed format.
6.OBC candidate not possessing "non Creamy layer" certificate may apply under UR quota (if available) subject to fulfilling UR age limit duly ticking the UR column.

Printing the filled application :
1.After saving the details of your application, you must print your application by clicking on the 'Print Application' button.
2. Please ensure that pop-up blockers, if any are removed in your system before clicking on this button. Otherwise the print application may also be blocked.
3. Please keep a copy of the printed application form for your reference.
4. Please note the registration number of your application, which is to be quoted for all your further correspondance with RRB, Thiruvananthapuram.
5. If for some reason you would like to print your application again, please use the 'Status/Print Application' button on the i-Register home page to login. You will be prompted to key in your EN number, Registration number and date of birth. On verifying the same, you can see the status of your application and print your application form again.

After printing the application form :
1.On the printed application form, paste your recent 3.5 cms x 3.5 cms size photograph (Not more than three months old) with clear front view in normal attire without cap and sunglasses in the space provided.
2.Write the declaration in your own handwriting in English, reproducing every word indicated in the space provided.
3.Signatures to affix at the spaces provided.
4.Affix your left thumb impression clearly and legibly in the space provided.
5.Fill up the particulars of your DD/IPO in the requisite columns. The Demand Draft should be drawn on a nationalized bank and should have a validity period of three months. The Demand Draft / IPO should be addressed to 'Assistant Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board, Thiruvananthapuram .
6.Note down your registration number. This is to be mentioned in all your correspondence with RRB.
7.Please attach along with your printed application form the following enclosures.

Enclosures(as per clause 5 of cen04/2012 where ever applicable) :
1.Postal orders/Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn in favour of the Assistant Secretary,Railway Recruitment Board,payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
2.One copy of latest 3.5 cms x 3.5 cms size photo(one pasted and another to be enclosed).
3.Self attested copy of community certificate issued by competent authority for SC/ST(as given in Annexure-3)& OBC candidates(as given in Annexure-4).Self declaration from OBC candidates regarding non-creamy layer status in the proforma as given in Annexure-5.
4.Self attested copy of Matriculation /High school examination certificate or an equivalent certificate indicating date of birth.
5.Self attested copy of educational and/or professional qualification prescribed for the post being applied.
6.Disability certificate for persons with disability(with degree of disability 40% and above) in the prescribed format.
7.Self attested copy of Discharge certificate in case of Ex Serviceman candidates.
8.Income certificate in the prescribed format for economically backward classes candidates for waiver of examination fee on the letterhead of issuing authorities.
9.Minority self Declaration for waiver of the examination fee for Minority community candidates.
10.Declaration form VH/affected by cerebral palsy(for engaging scribe)in the prescribed format.
11.Candidates serving in any Central/State Government including Railways or Public Sector should attach the No Objection Certificate from their Employer.

Note : Please note that the prescribed format is available along with the notification and not attaching of any of the above enclosures wherever applicable,will result in rejection of the application.

Mailing Instructions :
1.The printout of the online application and enclosures as above should be sent in an envelope size 10/11 cms x 24/25 cms to reach RRB, Thiruvananthapuram before the closing date of the notification.
2.The envelope to be super scribed with your on line registration number, category number, post applied for and the community.
3.RRB, Thiruvananthapuramis not responsible for non delivery and postal delays.

Invalid applications :
The following will disqualify your application.
1.Applications without proper signatures.
2.Applications without left thumb impression or left thumb impression too dark, smudged or not clear.
3.Application without declaration / incomplete declaration not in running hand.
4.Applications without any of the enclosures as listed under "Enclosure" wherever applicable.
