Guidelines for filling up application form :
1. Application form consists of Summary Sheet, Part A and Part B (wherever applicable).

2. Fill the form in CAPITAL LETTERS only.

3. Candidate must ensure that no column is wrongly filled in either Summary Sheet, Part-Aand Part-B of the form as the information furnished therein would be used for deciding theeligibility and suitability of the candidates for being called for the interview. Applicationsnot filled correctly, completely and as per the instructions for Summary Sheet, Part-A andPart-B are liable to be rejected and the onus of such rejection would be on the candidate.

4. Applicant must contact two of his/her referees and request them to send recommendationson the prescribed Proforma directly to the Registrar, CUB (Hard Copy) and/or torecruitment@cub.ac.in (Soft Copy) so as to reach on or before the last date of submissionof the application.

5. Copies of the certificates should be attached in support of information given in the formwherever necessary and serial no. of attachment should be indicated in the respectivecolumn.

6. Any information contained in the attached certificates shall not be considered unless it isclaimed in the application form.

Guidelines for filling up Application Form

Instructions for filling up part ‘a’ of the application form :
Part A of the Application Form is self-explanatory except for following points

Advertisement No., Post applied for, Subject and Area of specialization :
Fill the Advertisement No., Post applied for, Subject and Area of specialization as advertised. Area of specialization must conform to the syllabi (available on www.cub.ac.in) of relevant Master Programme being offered by the University.

Category :
SC, ST, OBC or General. Please also mention 'PD' if you are a person with any type of Disability. For example, if you belong to General category and also have physical disability, please write 'General-PD').

Note : OBC Certificate must be in the format prescribed by Govt. of India. Please refer relevant instructions in the Advertisement.

Physical Disability :
If the applicant has physical disability, the relevant particulars such as blindness or low vision, hearing impairment, locomotor disability or cerebral palsy, etc. with percentage of disability may be mentioned.

Educational Qualifications :
Fill in chronological order (Matriculation onwards).

Instructions for filling up part ‘b’ of the application form :
** Part B of the Application Form is based on Appendix III, Table I, Category III of the UGCRegulations 2010.

** The Form is to be filled in as per the tables and self-assessment scores.

** Maximum scores that can be given or carried forward are indicated in the Table.

** The selfassessment scores are further to be based on the indicators/activities given below.

** The Universities may modify the detailed indicators and related scores based on its experience and requirement without changing the score requirements assigned in Appendix III, Table II(c) of UGC Regulations 2010.
