Applications are invited on prescribed format to be obtained from the university web site from Indian citizens for admission to the two years duration course, M. Tech (VLSI Technology), sponsored by UGC under innovative program, for the academic year 2012-13. The applicants should have minimum first class B.E. / B. Tech. / M.Sc. degree in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication along with valid GATE score not less than 675 (Outstanding / Excellent level) for M. Tech course. Those who are appearing for their final examination of degree are also eligible to apply but result will be required at the time of admission.

Course duration and Structure :
Duration : full time 2 years; i.e. 24 months comprising of 4 semesters, each of 6 months. First two semesters that includes lectures, tutorials, practicals, project will be conducted in the Department of Electronics Engineering & Technology, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. However, the last two semesters will be in the industries or research laboratories of repute.

Entrance Examination Scheme for M. Tech. (VLSI) for Non-Gate Scorers :
(A) Written Exam. Max. Marks 80
(B) Interview Max. Marks 20

How to Apply :
i) The Application form for admission to M. Tech. (VLSI Technology) is available at the university website.
ii) . The candidate has to download the application form and completed form should be sent by post or submitted by hand along with DD.

2. Date of Local Entrance Exam for non GATE qualified or who have scored less than 675 and Personal Interview : 27th July 2012
3. Display of Merit List and Spot Admissions (Department of Electronics, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon.) : 27th July 2012
4. Commencement of regular classes. : 01st Aug. 2012
